Manufactured in 1963. Fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights. The barrel is marked on the left with the Winchester address, model, and caliber marking. "WP" proofs stamped on the top of the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and the serial number on the right of the receiver ring. Mounted in a multipoint checkered, straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops, Monte Carlo comb, and ventilated recoil pad. This rifle is consecutively serialized with the next lot.
