Manufactured in 1955. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and single leaf folding rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address and model and caliber markings. "WP" proofs are stamped on the left of the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops and checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine as partially professionally refinished, retaining 97% plus original blue finish on the barrel with some minor handling marks concentrated around the edges of the refinished triggerguard and floorplate. The stock is also very fine with minor dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
