A semi-automatic commercial version of the SIG 552 Commando, which is itself a compact version of the Swiss SIG 550 select-fire service rifle, imported after the implementation of the 1994 U.S. Assault Weapons Ban. Features hooded blade front and adjustable four-position drum rear sights with tritium night sight inserts, ambidextrous safety selectors with color coded "S/1" marks and auto block installed, and an adjustable gas block. The barrel features an 8 1/4" shroud permanently attached to the front of the 9" rifled section. The left side of the receiver is laser engraved with the SIGARMS Inc. import mark, caliber, model, and serial number, while the right side is laser engraved "RESTRICTED FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE AND/OR EXPORT ONLY." Fitted with a ventilated and ribbed polymer forearm with three screw-on Picatinny rail sections, ribbed pistol grip with storage compartment, and skeletonized folding buttstock with ribbed rubber buttpad. Includes three extra translucent polymer coupler magazines marked "RESTRICTED FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOV'T USE AND/OR EXPORT ONLY 9-14-94."

Excellent overall retaining 98% original black finish with limited minor handling marks and light ejection wear on the right of the receiver. Mechanically excellent.
