Description:

Manufactured in the 1890s, with the typical floral pattern accents on the barrel and frame, this example has the attractive nickel finish. Produced without sights, with the model and patent markings on the frame and the Chicago Firearms address on the side plate. The frame, side plate and turret cylinder are numbered to match. It is fitted with checkered hard rubber panels on the side plate and frame and a checkered hard rubber palm pad.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered light handling marks. The hard rubber components are exceptionally fine showing a slightly age-faded chocolate tone with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. The side plate secures but does not properly stop in "locked" position and the action needs work.
