This very attractive Mexican loop style holster bears no maker's marks but was very clearly made for a discerning customer. The skirt has two integral loops capturing the body of the holster. Both the skirt and the body have attractive, well-executed tooling including patterned borders and floral stamps on the body. The two loops are stamped "144" and "44 7 1/2" on the upper and lower respectively. It is setup for a right handed shooter in "cross-draw" configuration and will accommodate a Remington Single Action Army revolver with a 7 1/2 inch barrel. It is paired with a similarly colored cartridge belt with one row of .44/.45 size cartridge loops and an iron buckle. There is a money pocket located on the end near the buckle. Fine overall with a couple minor edge tears, mild wear and age-related cracking, and most of the stitching remaining tight. The billet of the belt appears to have been reattached during the period of use.
