U.S. Marked High Standard Model H-D Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured circa 1942-1944 for the U.S. Government. Serrated Patridge front and square notch rear sights, standard commercial markings on the left side of the frame and slide, "PROPERTY OF U.S.A." on top of the barrel and "PROPERTY OF/U.S." on the right side of the frame. Checkered spur hammer and checkered grips.

ConditionVery fine, with 85% plus original parkerized finish, showing areas of brown patina, scuffs and minor dings overall. Heavier dents are present on the triggerguard and the frame around the barrel. Grips are fine, with scuffs and dents on the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
