Built with blued steel barrels featuring a single steel bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD" and " U.S. AGENTS NEW-YORK" marked on the right and left respectively, engraving at the breech, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened boxlock action with sideclipped fences and scroll engraving surrounding Francotte signatures on either side. The gun features double triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid "S". The gun is mounted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with red rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 4 oz.

Excellent as professionally refurbished, retaining 99% plus blue finish and attractively muted case colors with some handling marks, a patch of plum coloration on the underside of the action, and overall crisp engraving. The stock is very fine with some dings and scratches, some softening of the checkering, and a hairline stress line the upper tang. Mechanically excellent.
