Manufactured in April 1985 (485) date mark. Built with blued Laufstahl barrels with a single brass bead sight on the matted vent rib, Birmingham proofs, import mark under the forearm, 2 3/4 inch chambers; and interchangeable chokes, interchangeable chokes (1/4 and 3/8 installed), and floral scroll at the chamber. The barrels are mated to a bolstered coin sidelock action which displays game scenes consisting of a pointer flushing a covey of pheasant on the left and a raptor swooping in on a pair of mallards on the right. The remaining surface of the action is engraved with flowing German scroll patterns with geometric motifs interlaced. The action is fitted with double triggers (front trigger is articulated) and tang mounted manual safety. Mounted in a lightly figured, beautifully contrasted, and multipoint checkered walnut three-piece forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and straight grip stock with checkered wooden buttplate. Includes four extra chokes (5/8, 3/4, full, and 1/2) and a choke tool. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore measured nine inches from the breech .725/.724 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.032 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at the heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 95% original blue and coin finishes with some handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with some handling marks, a stress line coming off the upper tang, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
