First debuted at The Grand American in Vandalia, Ohio, the Superbowl of trap shooting, the Vandalia was built to be a limited edition to commemorate the competition which drew hundreds of shooters to the town. Blued steel barrel with single white bead sight on the step-up matted ventilated rib, hand cut markings, a band of light engraving at the front of the chamber and breech, chamber marked 2 3/4 inches, and 1988 dated Italian proofs. The coin sideplate action displays magnificently understated floral scroll on the sideplates and fence with floral motifs on the crossbolt and top lever. The action is fitted with a hand checkered trigger. Mounted in a nicely figured and contrasted multipoint checkered walnut forend with Anson button release and pistol grip stock with ventilated Beretta recoil pad. Includes a leather covered takedown case with Beretta trade label containing cleaning tools and a set of screwdrivers.
