Factory Engraved Colt Mk IV Series 70 Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol with Box and Factory Letter

The included factory letter lists this pistol in .45 caliber with a 5 inch barrel, blue finish, class "B" standard level scroll engraving, furnished with a gold washed serial number when shipped to Valley Gun Distributors in Northridge, California on November 21, 1978 on order 632. Also included is a Colt "woodgrain" box with correct matching end label. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection; Property of a Gentleman

ConditionExcellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is good with storage and handling marks and a split end.
