Manufactured c. 1813-1820s with a multi-stage brass barrel that flares to approximately 1.3 inches at the muzzle (bore estimated above) and is marked with "London" on top and Birmingham proof marks on the upper left. It is mounted with a folding snap bayonet with a 10 3/4 inch blade. The lock is signed "BASS"/ The brass furniture has floral and martial engraving patterns, including a stylized pineapple trigger guard finial.
