Manufactured in 1939, with standard markings and features, including checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. Includes original Colt maroon box and a bore brush. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (stocks not listed) of caliber, barrel length, and finish when shipped to John J. Tobler of Union City, New Jersey, on October 23, 1939, in a lone shipment.

Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with a minor cylinder drag line and limited handling marks. Replacement grips are also excellent with scraped original serial numbers under both panels and defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with reproduction end label and moderate edge wear.
