Exceptional and Rare Documented Prototype German World War I Era 1915 Dated Eugen Huber Artillery Luger Holster

This is a rare item for the Luger collector: a prototype Bavarian 1915 dated Eugen Huber Artillery Luger holster in exceptional condition. This holster was likely made for the AWM (Artillery Workshop Munich) for trials and features two magazine pouches (magazines not included), with internal pouches for a takedown tool and cleaning rod (not included). It has been period converted with the substitution of belt loops on the rear, possibly post-World War I, in place of previous shoulder strap fixtures. "AWM/1/15" (January 1915) and "EUGEN HUBER/Militar-Efekten/Munchen" marked on the rear. Includes a combination takedown tool. This exact holster is pictured and described on page 1345 of the book "Pistole Parabellum, Volume III" by Gortz and Sturgess.

ConditionExceptionally fine with some light age related wear and some absent separated straps on the rear (noted above).
