Manufactured in the early 1940s, the "H" prefix is strongly associated with pistols destined for export to Sweden, which had planned to issue the handgun as the m/39 to their armed forces. The Swedes had intended to replace their current pistols with the Walther; however, World War II and their neutral status meant they couldn't purchase sufficient pistols or spare parts from Germany, which led to the adoption of the m/40 Lahti pistol instead. "Crown/N" commercial proofs marked on the frame and slide. Matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, barrel and locking block, and the magazine numbered "1209". The pistol has a rectangular rear firing pin and is fitted with a set of checkered "Cewe" and "480" marked grips.

Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing minor edge wear and handling marks overall. The grips show some minor dings and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
