The receiver is engraved with detailed game bird scenes of ducks on the right and pheasants on the left. The bird scenes are surrounded with fine scroll and border engraving, and the trigger guard is engraved with a small bird scene. The underside of the receiver is marked "WILK'S SAFETY FIRE ARMS U.S.A./PATENT NR. 1898651" ahead of the trigger guard. Attractive checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, scalloped horn grip cap, and serrated horn buttplate.
