The casehardened sideplated action is simply adorned with stippling on top behind the fences and gold inlaid "ORVIS" on the underside a light flourish of floral scroll on the triggerguard. The action is fitted with a single gold washed trigger and selective manual safety. Mounted in a beautifully contrasted multipoint checkered forend with Anson button release and round knob pistol grip stock with serrated walnut buttplate. Includes a second set of 28 inch 28 gauge barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers and choke tube system (cylinder/improved cylinder), as well as three extra chokes (full, modified, improved modified) for each gun. Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and vibrant case colors with a few light handling marks. Wood is very fine with some dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
