The coin action is engraved with Ducks Unlimited commemorative engraving consisting of floral scroll surrounding game scenes of two ducks in marsh above "DUCKS UNLIMITED" on the left side plate, a trio of grouse in a field above "Maass" on the right side plate, and a lone grouse on the underside above "P. Beretta/Mod. 687 DU". Fitted with a gold washed single trigger and tang mounted selective manual safety. Mounted in a lightly figured multipoint checkered walnut forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and pistol grip buttstock with blank initial escutcheon and solid brown recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 5/16 inch drop at the comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at the heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 4 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finish with some light handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with some dings and scratches, an absent sliver in the forend at the shoe, some chipping varnish around the left side plate and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
