Manufactured in 1930 as one of only 772 manufactured in this configuration per the chart on page 258 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote and even fewer still, only 17%, were made with ejectors. The gun was built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted concave solid rib which is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN. STEEL", chambers measured 2 1/2 inch with automatic ejectors, and a "XG#" Remington repair code. The barrels are mated to a casehardened boxlock action which displays the standard Grade V zig-zag border engraving and features double triggers and an automatic tang mounted safety. The gun is fitted with a gorgeous highly figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend and a pistol grip stock with Parker grip cap, blank gold inscription shield, and Parker dog's head buttplate. The above configuration is confirmed on page 586 of "Parker Gun Identification & Serialization" by Price and Fjestad, though the stock is likely a Remington replacement to match. Included is a modern wood and canvas takedown case and a pair of nickel snap caps.
