Introduced in 1949, the P210 series served as the standard sidearm of the Swiss military until replaced by the SIG Sauer P220 in 1975 and is still in use by the Danish military today. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights with the Swiss "cross in shield" crest on the rear sight base, "SIG" marked on the slide with "BP" Bernerprobe proof, and "P" (indicating release for private sale) marked on the left side of the trigger guard. With matching serial numbers on the left side of the frame and slide and the right side of the barrel along with British "crown/BNP" proofs. An importer mark is on the bottom of the magazine well. Fitted with a manual safety, magazine well safety, serrated slide catch, heel-mounted magazine catch, and checkered polymer grips.
