Manufactured in 1951 and subsequently upgraded by renowned gunsmith Dale W. Goens. Fitted with a sightless barrel hand marked "Dale W Goens #1109" in script on top and "270 Win" on the left side of the chamber. The receiver is topped with a set of Talley scope rings which hold a Leupold 2X7 Vari-X IIc scope. Mounted in a magnificently contrasted fleur-de-lis checkered walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forearm tip, blued steel grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and Old English recoil pad. Includes a hard case, the original receipt for the upgrade work, Dale Goens' business card, and a signed photograph of Goens holding this rifle.

Very fine as upgraded by Dale Goens, retaining 98% refinished blue finish with a ding on the barrel and some light high edge wear. Stock is very fine with a couple minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Optics clear, reticle crisp.
