Built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib which is signed "COGSWELL & HARRISON. LTD. 'SANDHURST.' 168. PICADILLY. LONDON", light engraving at the breech, 1955 dated Birmingham proofs on the flats, choke constrictions of .000/.007 inches, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are mated to a handsome casehardened sideplated boxlock action which displays near full coverage floral scroll engraving along with "COGSWELL & HARRISON LTD." signatures on either sideplate and features dual triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is mounted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and Anson button release as well as a straight grip stock with blank gold inscription oval and a leather covered recoil pad. Included is a wood and leather takedown case with a pair of snap caps, an oiler, and a set of cleaning tools.
