Introduced in 1979 as a commercial semi-automatic only version of Fabrique Nationale's iconic FNC select-fire rifle, with very few imported to the United States. Features winged post front and dual leaf peep rear sights, flip-up front grenade sight, two position gas regulator, spring loaded dust cover, and a right handed "S/1" marked trigger group. The upper receiver is marked with standard FN markings and markings for Howco and Gun South. Fitted with vented metal and ribbed plastic handguard, smooth plastic pistol grip, and folding tubular metal buttstock. Magazine absent. Provenance: The Jon M. Maxwell Collection

Excellent, retaining 99% original black and phosphate finishes with minor handling evidence. Furniture is also excellent with slight handling marks on the pistol grip. Mechanically excellent.
