Manufactured in 1919, this is a fine example of a Winchester Model 1892 rifle chambered in .25-20 W.C.F. There are Winchester factory oval proofs on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper left flat of the barrel is marked with the two-line address and patent date and the caliber marking at the breech. The upper tang is marked with the three-line model and trademark information while the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a blade front sight and elevation adjustable, flat-top notch rear sight. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with some spots of mild wear near the muzzle, on the lever, and on a few high spots, along with some scattered light handling marks. The wood is fine with noticeable numerous pock marks visible on the left side of the forearm and scratches and dings on the left side of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
