Manufactured in 1939 and subsequently professionally restored/refurbished. The top of the receiver has been factory grooved/matted. The left side of the Routledge bore barrel is marked "-WINCHESTER/PROOF STEEL-MODEL 61- WINCHESTER-/-TRADE MARK- .22 L.R.- FOR SHOT ONLY" at the breech. The top of the barrel and top left of the receiver are stamped with a Winchester factory proof. The serial number "47711" is stamped on the frame and trigger guard with a "W" stamped beneath. The upper tang is correctly drilled and tapped for the addition of a sight with filler screws in place. Grooved flat bottom forearm and a smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine, 98% high quality professionally restored blue remaining with some scattered light handling marks, crisp markings, and a very small trace of blued over pitting on the upper left of the trigger guard assembly. The wood is also very fine with some scattered small ding, and light patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
