Bore Condition: The bore is dark.
Description:

Manufactured in 1813 or later based on the Birmingham proof marks with a "LONDON" marked barrel in approximately 17 gauge (.65 caliber, carbine bore) that flares to 1.33 inches at the muzzle and is mounted with a folding snap bayonet. The lock is marked "H-NOCK" at center and has a sliding safety catch and frizzen spring roller. The furniture is brass. There is some light engraving throughout. The stock has a checkered wrist.

Rating Definition:

Fair with aged patina on the brass barrel and mounts, gray and brown patina and pitting on the lock and bayonet, broken ramrod, re-varnished stock with distinct checkering, and general mild overall wear. Mechanically fine.
