This is an early example CSMC assembled Model 21, reportedly using all Winchester original parts. The receiver is engraved with floral scroll patterns and relief engraved oak leafs and acorns on the fences. The right side of the receiver has an oval panel with a gold inlaid hunting dog on point in a wooded scene, the left side has a gold inlaid hunting dog in a wooded scene, the underside has a round panel with two gold inlaid pheasants in a field scene and there is a gold inlaid dogs head in a circle on the trigger guard flanked by floral scroll designs. The floral scroll patterns extend to the break lever, forearm hardware and a 3 inch wedge on the breech end of the barrels. There are two sets of barrels, one is 26 inches in length and the other is 30 inches in length, the 26 inch barrels are choked WS-1 and WS-2, the other set modified/improved cylinder, both sets have 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, have a single red bead sight on a matte vent rib, are numbered to the gun, numbered "1" and "2" on the lug, are Winchester proofed, are marked with the Connecticut Shotgun address, have jeweled flats and lugs, have their own forearm with fancy fleur-de-Lis checkering, contrasting forend insert, jeweled inner hardware, and are numbered to the gun (hardware and wood), and numbered "1" and "2". Gold single trigger with selector, tang mounted automatic safety, jeweled water table and breech face, and mounted with an extra fancy straight grip walnut stock with fancy fleur-de-Lis checkering, checkered bare butt and gold initial oval. Comes with a hard leather takedown case with leather corner protectors, handle and straps, and red felt lining with a Winchester Model 21 label affixed to the inside of the lid. In the case is a nickel oiler, two nickel snap caps and three cleaning brush attachments. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .665/.664 inch; bore constriction .013/.021 inch; minimum wall thickness .028/.028 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 5/16 inches; cast neutral. Measurements for second barrel set are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .663/.665 inch; minimum wall thickness .035/.035 inch.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus original blue finish with only light handling/storage marks. The wood is also excellent with a few very minor pressure dents and handling marks. The checkering remains sharp. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some wear and tears to the lining, and some minor scratches and scrapes on the exterior.
