Manufactured in 1952, there are standard Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The left of the barrel has the standard proof steel, trademark, model, and caliber markings. The serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a hooded and ramped beaded blade front sight, a filler in the rear sight dovetail, and a Lyman 56 peep sight mounted on the left of the receiver. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered shotgun buttplate.

Very fine, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with some very faint edge wear and a few scattered light handling marks. The wood is very good with a hairline crack in the right of the forearm, buttstock and forend cap refinished with a filled sling swivel stud hole, and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
