Manufactured 1970-1973. The revolver displays approximately 80% coverage floral scroll engraving on a punch dot back which flanks the barrel markings. The engraving envelops the frame and surrounds a shield which bears the S&W monogram trademark with a wavy vine and leafy motif on the topstrap. The cylinder has been tastefully cut with floral scroll between the flutes which nearly spills over the back of the flutes creating a nice contrast between the fluted front and bare rear. The backstrap shows more floral scroll which surrounds a blank inscription panel at the center. Fitted with serrated blade front and frame notch rear sights as well as S&W monogram checkered panel grips. Includes a S&W blue box containing cleaning tools and a screwdriver.

Excellent as embellished with light handling marks, a cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.
