Manufactured in 1980 with "IA" date code on the left of the frame, one of just 250 Mauser Parabellum pistols themed after the 75th anniversary of the Karabiner Lugers introduction in 1902. Includes a red leatherette handled case fitted to the pistol with "Karl Flierl" marked on the name plate and "Mauser banner" emblazed in gold on the interior, along with a detachable checkered walnut stock with matching serial numbers marked on the iron and on an escutcheon under the butt, two extra blued "Mauser banner" magazines, a takedown tool, brass cleaning rod, bore brush, keys for the case, and matching numbered factory test fire target, all in vacuum sealed bags, along with a gun sock.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish, straw colors, and gold inlays, with some minor edge wear on the shoulder stock lug, plum coloration on the fame and extension, but otherwise limited handling evidence and crisp grip checkering. The stock is also excellent with attractive grain and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is exceptionally fine.
