Manufactured in 1938. This model was easily concealed and designed with bank employees in mind. Fixed blade front sight and grooved rear frame notch sight. The left side is marked with "38, BANKERS/SPECIAL" on the barrel and a Rampant Colt logo on the frame behind cylinder latch. Six round cylinder, checkered trigger, checkered hammer and cylinder latch. Fitted with checkered grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with original black Colt factory box numbered to the gun and paper target.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with slight muzzle wear, slight high edge wear on the front of the cylinder, very faint cylinder drag line, and the trigger guard and grip straps faded to a smooth brown patina. The grips are also excellent with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some minor scuff marks, corner wear, and a small tear on the edge of the lid.
