Blade front and tangent rear sights, with "byf/44" on the receiver ring, matching numbered bolt, and a set of stamped barrel bands, floorplate and triggerguard. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a cupped steel buttplate and a brown leather sling.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, mild spotting and light handling marks. The stock is fine, with some separation of the laminate layers at the wrist and near the buttplate, mild dents and scuffs, and rust on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
