Built on an unmarked Model 1903 action and featuring a blued steel barrel with a ramped hooded blade front sight and "30-06 GOV." marked on the left of the chamber. The barrel is fitted to the blued action which retains the magazine cut-off and has a Lyman rear peep sight. The bottom metal is also blued and simply marked "GRIFFIN & HOWE INC./NEW YORK". The rifle is mounted in a two-piece full length Mannlicher style stock with multi-point checkering, sling swivels, contrasting grip cap and forend tip, and checkered steel trapdoor buttplate.

Very fine as professionally built, retaining 95% blue finish, some high edge wear, a few dings and scratches in the stock, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
