Manufactured c. 1930s. The rifle uses a detachable spring loaded box magazine and has an interchangeable beaded blade front sight and fully adjustable ladder rear sight mounted on the barrel. There are claw mount scope bases on the receiver with a Hensoldt Wetzlar Ziel-Dialyt 4x scope numbered "Nr.53045". The trigger is serrated and the trigger guard is checkered. The Schnabel tipped walnut pistol grip stock is checkered at the wrist and has the Mauser logo on the right side of the buttstock as well as the hard rubber buttplate. Crown over "U", "B" and "G" commercial proofs. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, receiver and bolt. Includes a brown leather sling.

Excellent, 95% plus original blue finish remains with some minor muzzle and trigger guard wear. The safety lever has been trimmed to function with the scope attached. Stock is fine with scattered light scratches and dings overall, and defined edges and checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is fine with clear optics.
