Bore Condition: The bore is excellent and is shiny with sharp rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1942. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sights. The barrel is marked with the model and caliber markings on the left, and the Winchester address on the right. "WP" proofs are stamped on the left of the chamber and receiver. The early cloverleaf tang receiver properly is drilled and tapped on the ring and left side of the clip slotted bridge and marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend, hard rubber grip cap, sling loops and checkered blued steel buttplate. Includes leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some light handling marks concentrated near the muzzle. The sock is very fine with scattered dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
