Group includes: 1) Three CBI "shield" patches, one embroidered/printed, the other two leather and suede construction. 2) "Thunderbird" patch, red and black embroidered on white twill. 3) "Flying Tiger" patch, stitched leather construction. 4) 23rd Fighter Group "Flying Tiger" patch, embroidered shield. 5) 11th Bomb Squadron "Jiggs" patch, stitched and painted leather construction. 6) Nationalist Air Force 12th Group patch, embroidered on black cloth. 7) Chinese language pamphlet discussing joint U.S./Chinese pilot training. 8) Book, "Pictorial History of the Flying Tigers" by Larry Pistole. The interior has been signed and dedicated to George Walters, a documented member of the American Volunteer Group/Flying Tigers, thanking him for his assistance in producing the work. Very good overall. The book and pamphlet show mild wear and tear, with the patches showing light wear, evidence of being stitched to a uniform or jacket, and some stains.
