The action is fully engraved with flowing, leafy scroll patterns surrounding brilliantly gold inlaid scenes of North American pintail ducks, showing two on the left, two on the right, two on the underside, and a bust on the triggergurad. The underside is inscribed and gold inlaid with "AMERICAN PINTAIL ANAS ACUTA/036 of 500". The action is signed "J.BAERTEN" at the rear of both sides. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered deluxe walnut forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with skip-line checkered bare butt. Includes original box and hardwood presentation case with shipping box.. This gun is collector serialized to the previous and two following lots.
