Manufactured in 1986. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked "**-"/"**", and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The French grey finished boxlock action displays beautiful scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid decorations. The right side shows a pointer flushing a pair of quail along with a bust of John Browning and "BROWNING GOLD CLASSIC", the left side shows a pointer flushing a pair of pheasant over "036 OF FIVE HUNDRED", and the underside has a bust of a grouse all rendered in highly detailed gold. The engraving extends to the toplever, both tangs, and the trigger guard which shows a gold inlaid Browning logo. The right side of the action is signed "E. VOS", and the left side is signed "J. RECULE" for FN Engravers Edouard Vos and Jean Recule. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety selector switch with gold inlaid "O", "U", and "S". Beautifully figured, fancy floral multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes original box and hardwood presentation case with shipping box. The gun is collector serialized to the three previous. Very fine, retaining 99% plus original blue and 95% original French grey finishes, handling marks, pitting on the action, and crisp engraving. Wood is excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine and the case is excellent.
