Built with brown Damascus steel shotgun barrels and a fluid steel rifle barrel featuring a low blade front sight and dual flip-up rear sight son the matted solid rib, dual rear sights added to inset blocks for the shotgun barrels, J. P. Sauer & Sohn markings on either barrel, and period German proofs. The shotgun barrels have choke constrictions of .027/.025 inches and chambers measured 2 9/16 inches with an extractor. The barrels are fitted to a coin finished rebounding hammer backaction which displays near full coverage oak leaf engraving extending to the underlever, hammers, and both tangs. The gun is fitted with double triggers (front single set, a folding peep sight in the upper tang, and a toplever selector. The gun is mounted with a multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a round knob pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, engraved cartridge trap, and a horn buttplate. Included is a wood and leather takedown case, two boxes of Baikal 16 gauge shells, and two pieces of 11.15x65mmR brass. Length of pull 13 7/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 13 oz. Very good as refurbished, retaining nearly all of the dark brown finish, original coin finish on the action, a repair to the left rib, a few light handling marks, and crisp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine.
