Bore Condition: The bore is excellent and is shiny with sharp rifling.
Description:

Non-Registered .357 revolvers are much more rare than their Registered Magnum model counterparts, with only about 1,400 manufactured compared to about 5,400 Registered Magnums. The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was shipped on July 30, 1940 and delivered to Farmere Hardware Co. of Blakely, Georgia, with a 8 3/4 inch barrel, King front sight, blue finish, and checkered Magna grips. This was a single gun shipment billed at $40.10. Matching serial numbers are on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and ejector shroud. Includes a correct box with a label on the underside listing the barrel length and serial number. Provenance: The 50 year Collection of Johnny Walker Birmingham Pistol Wholesale

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 95% plus original finish, handling marks, muzzle wear, cylinder front face flash marks, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is good with water stains.
