Built with attractive matted blued steel barrels featuring dual bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard factory markings, Briley choke tube system added (skeet/skeet installed), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels appear to be fitted as a carrier set for the included inserts from a 12 gauge barrel marked f/im (see below). The barrels are fitted to a gorgeous coin finished action with deep flowing scrollwork over a matted black background surrounding gold inlaid "K80/KRIEGHOFF" on the underside and a trio of highly detailed game scenes encompassed by gold inlaid line borders. The left scene shows a flock of specklebelly geese in flight over a water scene, the right shows a flock of green-wing teal coming in to land on the water, and the underside has more mallards over the water with a Labrador Retriever. The gun features a single selective gold plated trigger and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted with a highly figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip Monte Carlo stock with right hand palm swell and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Included is an extra 12 gauge barrel set which measures 30 inches and has skeet/skeet chokes installed as well as three sets of full length subgauge inserts, one each in 20 gauge, 28 gauge, and .410 bore. Also included is an aluminum Americase takedown case with cleaning tools, insert installation tools, and a total of 11 extra choke tubes. Barrel measurements for the extra set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed and measured 18.6mm (.732 inches); minimum wall thickness .041/.041 inches. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed at 18.6mm (.732 inches) and measured .748/.747 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.033 inches; 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 15 5/16 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 8 lbs. 11 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, coin, and gold finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the upgraded stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set and inserts are also excellent. A great opportunity to own a fine German shotgun!
