The included factory letter lists this revolver as chambered in .38 Special with an 8 inch barrel, nickel finish, and grips not listed when shipped to Southern Gun Distributors Inc. in Opa-Locka, Florida on December 15, 1980 in a shipment of 15 guns. The letter further remarks that the Python Target was produced from 1980-1985 with only 1,962 finished in nickel. Includes original Colt "woodgrain" box.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks, a faint cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.
