Manufactured in 1978, with "HI" date code on the left of the magazine well and importer mark on the right. Features hooded blade front and four position drum rear sight, birdcage flash hider, "HKKN" barrel, folding carry handle fitted to the receiver, "1/78" bolt, "AA" bolt carrier, and "S/F" color coded fire selector. Fitted with a textured polymer triangular handguard, pistol grip, fixed buttstock, and stamped magazine marked "G3 HK/8/78". Includes a brown leather two-point sling.

Exceptionally fine, retaining 85% plus original black finish with some spotting and pitting on the bolt and around the chamber, scrapes above and opposite the ejection port and around the optic mounting tabs on the receiver, and minor handling evidence. The furniture is excellent with only a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
