This impressive revolver was manufactured c. 1860 and features over/under barrels and a massive 20 shot cylinder. The revolver is configured so that the shots alternate between barrels. This was certainly a massive capacity for a handgun in the 19th century. The upper barrel is signed "E. Lefaucheux Bte a Paris". The left side of the barrel lug has the revolver and "LF" maker's mark followed by "397".

Good with fading original finish mixed with dark patina, mild pitting, absent front sight, period refinished undersized grips, and mild overall wear. The action is out of time and does not function properly.
