The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was shipped on May 10, 1922 and delivered to Gus Habich Co. of Indianapolis, Indiana, with a 6 inch barrel in .38 caliber, nickel finish, and type of stocks not listed. The revolver wears a set of pearl grips decorated with a relief carved steer head on the right panel. The original hard rubber grips numbered to the gun are included. The revolver has standing markings and sights. The period correct box is unnumbered and features an end label for a .38 caliber Army Special revolver and a faint nickel finish label.

Excellent, retaining 98% plus extensively polished original nickel finish with a light cylinder drag line and a few handling marks. The replacement oversized grips are very fine with highly attractive fiery colors and crisp craving. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.
