Description:

The successor to the STEN Gun of World War II fame, the Sterling was essentially the peak of "tube gun" weapon design, and would serve as one of Great Britain's go-to close combat weapons through the Cold War and beyond. This example was commercially produced by noted American NFA manufacturer Charles Erb. Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with the Erb address, "bullet" logo and serial number on the left side of the ventilated tube, faint Sterling markings on the magazine well, right handed three position "A R S" selector switch, checkered grip, and an underfolding stock. Included with the lot are eight extra magazines (seven Sterling, one STEN), magazine pouch (marked for an Uzi) and small spare parts.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the textured black finish, showing some flaking and material loss on the heat shield and stock, and mild handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
