Established in 1904 and still active today, the Royal Typewriter Company was one of many American firms that entered the firearms trade for World War II, suspending normal operations in favor of weapons and aircraft component production. Hooded blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with "ROT II/5-52" on the barrel, a short flash hider and bipod on the barrel, standard markings on top of the receiver, and "BA4 10-68" on the left side of the receiver. A set of faint importer markings (likely for Inter-American of Sacramento, California) are present on the left side around the charging handling, with "F A S" selector marks and the spring loaded stop plunger between "A" and "S". Fitted with a smooth hardwood forearm and a synthetic buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Fine as professionally refinished, with 95% of the parkerized finish, over scattered pitting. The stock shows mild scuffs and dents overall, with some cracks and chipping on the forearm. Mechanically excellent.
