Manufactured in 1928, it has standard Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper left flat of the barrel is marked with the standard Winchester address, patent dates, model, and caliber information. The upper tang is marked with the three-line Winchester trademark, and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver and the lower tang. It is fitted with a beaded blade front sight, filler in the rear sight dovetail, and a Lyman peep sight on the upper tang. It is mounted with a 12-groove slide handle and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with some light edge/handling wear and some brown speckling on the receiver. The wood is excellent with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
