Description:

This revolver was one of just 25 built in this finish and grip material manufactured by Colt in 1984 according to page 22 of Dennis Adler's book "Black Powder Revolvers-Reproductions & Replicas". The included factory letter confirms the current configuration, including grip material, and states the revolver was shipped to Aeromarine of Birmingham, Alabama, on October 22, 1984, as part of a 22 gun shipment. Includes original plain cardboard box featuring Colt Custom Gun Shop label listing the revolver as 25 of 25.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original nickel finish with minor handling evidence and a very faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.
