Manufactured c.2008-2019 in emulation of the famous Bren Light Machine Gun, this Project Guns LLC Bren was made in Florida using a "destroyed" Bren receiver (torch cut, then cleaned up and rewelded in semi-automatic only configuration) and a mix of commercial and milsurp parts. Blade front and folding rear sights, with "BREN Mk I" on the right side of the receiver, and the Project Guns markings on top of the gas system. The "A S R" selector markings are present, with the selector switch confined to "S" (safe) and "R" (semi-auto) by a solid steel block. Fitted with a folding bipod, swiveling carry handle, and hardwood grip and buttstock. A number of accessories are included, with a hardwood transport case with matching numbered stencil markings, tripod, tan canvas sling, five extra barrels, one canvas barrel case, tripod, two magazine cases, and twenty-four extra magazines. Very good as rebuilt into semi-automatic finish, with 90% plus new black finish on the receiver and trigger housing, showing mid handling marks and a few areas of roughness/voids from the rewelds. The barrels, magazines and furniture show wear appropriate to military surplus components, with fading, scuffs and dings on the barrels, and spliced repairs on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Accessories are good, with mild wear and handling.
