A licensed copy of the famed Browning Automatic Rifle, the 1918 Browning Machine Rifle was Marlin-Rockwell's light machine gun offering for World War I, offering a virtually unprecedented combination of firepower and maneuverability for infantry combat operations. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with an "M/11-18" marked barrel, five-line nomenclature/"PATENT APPLIED FOR" markings on top of the receiver, three position selector with "F A S" markings (semi/full/safe) and spring loaded plunger between the full auto and safe positions. Fitted with a checkered forearm and a smooth pistol grip stock. Included with the lot are four extra magazines.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% plus high polish refinished blue overall, showing some light spotting, handling marks and dings. The stock is very good, with some cracking in the buttstock, signs of sanding, and mild dents and scratches. The recoil spring is weak and undersized (needs replaced), otherwise mechanically functions.
